Tip of the Week

When you´re beginning a story, poem, or article, just WRITE during the first draft. Get the emotions, the character motivations, the general story on paper. Save time-consuming edits for later. You don`t need to figure everything out in the beginning. You don`t need to spell things right or have your prose sparkling like Hemingway. Fullness comes after you have taken the time to discover the piece`s deeper meaning. In other words, write to rewrite!
